- Source of butyric acid, which may reduce cancer risk.

- Source of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which has been shown to modulate immune function and may lower risk of cancer.
- Source of whey protein, which may help fortify the immune system.
Carotenoids and Bioflavonoids
- Carotenoids and bioflavonoids are both powerful antioxidants.
- Carotenoids can be found in green and orange fruits and vegetables.
- Bioflavonoids are found in citrus, whole grains, soy, berries, honey, and other plant foods.
Cruciferous Vegetables
- Broccoli, brussels spouts, cabbage and cauliflower all have an active ingredient called "indoles," which research studies suggest may be protective against cancer.
- These vegetables are able to increase the body's production of important protective enzymes, which may make estrogen less harmful.
Legumes

Berries
- Good source of fiber, vitamin C, the antioxidant anthocyanidins, and ellagic acid.
- Try all varieties of berries including blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry.
